Trophy Gold is a great narrative RPG to emulate OSR style adventures in a narrative style. I highly recommend it.
Characters are desperate treasure hunters, and the game is tense and deadly. The adventures in the book are quite dark, but I believe any OSR adventure could be converted with a bit of work, and while the game tone would still be Dark & Desperate, the adventures could be ran as less horror adjacent.
Heartily recommend giving it a go.
